This artefact also depicts the ingenuity of the minoans, as the artefact is designed to be carried around whilst the incense is burning. It also shows us that the houses were quite large, as the artefact is designed to be carried around, in order to fully spread the fragrance.

Another case of an incense burner has been identified in a fresco, in which a woman is depicted carrying around another incense burner. The incense burner was described by Christos Doumas.
